As an ambitious young man—and tired of living in poverty—Donte turned to dealing drugs as a way to quickly build the life of luxury he thought he wanted. After a near death experience and eventual arrest, Donte chose the difficult task of turning his life around. 

He now owns several multi-million-dollar businesses, mentors at-risk youth, is an associate pastor, and has won several distinguished awards, including Indiana Entrepreneur of the Year and Small Business Person of the Year.
